With more than 30 years of experience in criminal and insurance fraud investigations, George Hodge is a seasoned leader known for investigative precision, sound judgment, and team development.
Most recently, George served as a Property and Casualty Insurance SIU Manager, where he led a team of special investigators handling suspicious auto and home claims nationwide. He also played a key role in guiding his team through a company integration, following the acquisition of his company, ensuring continuity, accountability, and high investigative standards throughout the transition.
Prior to that, George spent more than 25 years with a well-known insurance carrier, advancing through roles including Senior Special Investigator, Team Leader, Supervisor, and SIU Manager. He supervised 11 investigators across 13 states, reviewed and assigned complex claims, delivered fraud awareness training, and partnered closely with claims and underwriting leadership to address high-exposure cases. His work consistently focused on identifying fraudulent activity, protecting company assets, and supporting successful prosecution when warranted.
Earlier in his career, George served as an Insurance Criminal Investigator with the North Carolina Department of Insurance and as an Alcohol Law Enforcement Agent with the North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement Division. These roles strengthened his expertise in evidence collection, case development, and courtroom preparation.
George holds the Fraud Claims Law Specialist (FCLS) designation and is a charter member of the International Association of Special Investigation Units. He earned his Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from Wake Technical College and has completed numerous advanced certifications infinancial investigations, law enforcement, and fraud detection.
